What to see and do
Dubai is famous for its skyscrapers, especially the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. You can take an elevator to the 124th floor and enjoy stunning views of the city from the observation deck. For some adventure and fun, you should try sandboarding in the desert, where you can slide down sand dunes on a board. You can also go on a desert safari and enjoy camel rides, quad biking, henna painting, and a barbecue dinner under the stars.
Dubai is also a shopper's paradise, with a mall in almost every neighbourhood. The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world, with over 1,200 stores, an ice rink, a cinema, and an aquarium. You can also visit Mall of the Emirates, which has a ski resort inside, or Nakheel Mall, which has a glass slide and a glass floor experience.
What to eat
Dubai has a diverse and delicious cuisine, influenced by its multicultural population. You can find dishes from all over the world in Dubai's restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls. Some of the local specialties that you should try are:

Best Hostel in Dubai Based on Our Experience
"When we visited Dubai in October 2023, we had an unpleasant experience finding a good hostel. We searched through booking.com for many options, but the pictures of the hostels looked better than the reality. After much struggle and searching, we finally found a good hostel with a welcoming atmosphere, clean rooms, and bathroom facilities. The hostel host, an Indian gentleman, greeted us with a warm smile. He also offered rides in his car for a small fee, if needed. For breakfast, he provided slices of bread and jam. The hostel is conveniently located near Al Baraha Station, just around a 300-meter walk. Additionally, if you're interested in Pakistani food, you can enjoy delicious dishes at the nearby Al Madina restaurant, which is only 100 meters away from the hostel.
